The drywall is not up yet and the total number of volunteers is projected to be very small so we may be working on houses other than our own, but report to our house (#25) anyway. The siding in the from half of the house, called Nichiha paneling, is not done on all of the houses and that will probably be the focus.
In short, dress warmly, bring gloves that will provide some warmth if you are volunteering. Please pass this on to all who are volunteering from your churches.

We need volunteers for January 8, 15, and February 5 and 12! See the schedule for details and volunteer now!
The directions and downloadable info packet have been updated for Jan/Feb 2011.
As of Dec 18 the house is roughed in; professionals are installing sprinklers, electric & plumbing.

The Gallery has FINALLY been caught up with still images from 7/12, 7/19, 7/25, 7/26, 8/2, and 8/23. Video is still to come.

Habitat parking location has changed effective August 20, visit the website for the location.

Special build date on August 23 needs 2 outside painters, 2 inside painters, 2 carpenter-types,and 2 others.

Landscaping has been set for Sept 27, and habitat will allow youth 14 and over on that day for sodding.

Dedication is sceduled for October 4.

Still some work to be accomplished! House Lead Matt has requested volunteers for this coming Saturday, August 2. He's looking for a few crew leaders, 6 painters (doors and exterior trim) and 3 to 4 carpenter-types to put in cabinets. Contact Vince or Claudia if you would like to volunteer for a few hours this Saturday working on the house. Matt is anticipating a shorter day, hopefully wrapping up between 1-2pm.

Looking for 3-4 Volunteers on June 21

Our house leaders, Matt and Dale, have made a special request for 3 to 4 volunteers from the Episcopal group to work on June 21 for approximately 3 - 4 hours in the morning. Basically, from 7 am to 10 - 11 am. The rain has put us slightly behind and they would like to get caught up. Work would be on siding and Nova brick. They a requesting volunteers with a medium skill level (ability to measure, level, use a power drill and chop saw). Follow the link to the site and see the "Message Area".
